The weeks and months following a baby's birth can be a challenge in many ways -- from infant care to breastfeeding and sleepless nights to babywearing techniques. As the needs of the family change, it is my job to support the parents through difficult decisions such as how to feed their baby, vaccination preferences, where their baby should sleep, if and when to sleep train, etc. With a focus on e
ducation, I look forward to sharing the latest information about baby care with parents, as well as teach siblings and partners to "mother the mother." I also specialize in assisting with breastfeeding education and support. I myself have a 2-year-old and have been through the ups and down of infant care, breastfeeding challenges and post-birth injuries. I feel honored to offer the care and support new parents need as they face the same challenging circumstances that I once did. I am available for day work in the Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Kensington and North Berkeley areas.
