Winds Across the Bay’s Board of Directors are pleased to announce that Jane Magid has been hired as our new conductor for the 2016/2017 Season. Jane is an established conductor from the heart of West Contra Costa County. She brings over 30 years of music teaching experience from both public and private schools and camps. In addition, Jane is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, a credentialed teacher, a private flute instructor, and a flute performer. Jane will begin on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. No auditions will be held this year, however, we plan to host an Open House prior to that date in order for the musicians and their families to meet Jane and members of the board.
