On Friday, August 26th, all students will participate in a train safety presentation offered by Operation Lifesaver (https://oli.org/)

Operation Lifesaver is working to change people's behavior around railroad tracks and crossings.

The ECESD 2014-2015 Parent Fair will take place on Saturday, February 7th from 7:45 am - 12:00 noon at Sunflower Elementary School.

ECESD Migrant Program Evening of Stars Perfect Attendance Assembly will take place this coming Wednesday, February 4th at 5:45 pm in the KMS multi-purpose room. This event will honor migrant students with perfect attendance for the first semester of the 2014-2015 school year.

ECESD Noche de Estrellas de parte del programa migrante en honor a los alumnus con asistencia perfecta. Se reconoceria a los estudiantes migrantes con asistencia perfecta del primer semester del ano escolar 2014-2015. Escuela Kennedy a las 5:45 pm.

The Imperial Valley Honor Band will be performing at Southwest High School on Saturday, January 31st @ 7:00 pm. Several KMS students will be participating. The event is free and open to the p***c.

KMS 8th grade students attended yesterday's motivational presentation by Manny Scott at Southwest High School.

From broken or abusive homes to drugs, poverty and even su***de, Scott left virtually no stone unturned when discussing some of the personal issues plaguing today’s young adults and the daily challenges they face.
