What a wonderful celebration honoring our 8th grade students as they are promoted to high school!

Many of these students have been part of our hive since kindergarten, and it has been a joy to watch them learn, grow, and thrive. As they leave the hive and spread their wings, we know they will continue to shine and soar wherever their journey takes them.

Congratulations to Mr. Jose Amador, EL Resource Teacher, on being selected by the Imperial County Office of Education (ICOE) as an EL Champion for the 2025–2026 school year.

This honor highlights his dedication, expertise, and consistent advocacy for English Learner students, helping them grow academically and feel supported throughout their learning journey.

This week, we had the opportunity to celebrate our incredible staff. Every member of our Hive plays an important role in supporting our students and families, and their hard work is deeply appreciated. 💛

We received many thoughtful tokens of appreciation during Staff Appreciation Week. The excitement of students giving gifts to their teachers was so special, and all of the flowers, treats, kind notes, and thoughtful surprises brought smiles to our faces. ❤️

We even enjoyed a sweet Mother’s Day celebration in one of our classrooms! 🌸

To all the mothers in our Hive and in our community, Happy Mother’s Day! Thank you for the beautiful partnerships we share in supporting our children together. 💕

From IVHSA to high school . . . our 8th grade students and parents had a special visit from the Central Union High School District administration and counseling team. Students learned about A-G requirements, CTE pathways, AVID, Link Crew, and more, helping them prepare for a successful transition to high school.

A big thank to the fantastic team! High school, here we come!
