With more than 40 years of experience, he has trained thousands of educators and service providers across the country, emphasizing the critical role of relationships, identity, and belonging in healthy child development. As co-founder of the National Compadres Network, his work highlights father involvement, community healing, and strengths-based practices that align closely with early childhood education. His writings and trainings support educators in understanding trauma, nurturing resilience, and partnering effectively with families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Mr. Tello’s work offers early education professionals practical insight and inspiration for creating inclusive, healing-centered learning environments.
