Was your home damaged by storms in 2024? The Texas General Land Office may be able to help.

Eligible homeowners may qualify for assistance through the Homeowner Assistance Program (HAP) or Homeowner Reimbursement Program (HRP). These programs, offered by the State of Texas, may help rebuild or repair storm-damaged homes or reimburse eligible out-of-pocket home repair expenses related to federally declared disasters in 2024, including Hurricane Beryl.

Homeowners who experienced damage or loss are encouraged to attend the GLO outreach event on Tuesday, July 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Northside Education Center, 707 Fahrenthold Street in El Campo. GLO representatives will be available to provide information, answer questions and help residents better understand available assistance and eligibility requirements.

The Texas General Land Office is currently administering two programs:
•Homeowner Assistance Program (HAP): Provides assistance for home repairs and reconstruction
•Homeowner Reimbursement Program (HRP): Reimburses eligible out-of-pocket expenses not covered by insurance, FEMA, or other sources

They will be at Northside Education Center from 12pm - 6pm today June 16th
