Just finished during a customers recurrent training in this BE58 with the Colemill Conversion. It has some pretty amazing performance. The single engine climb rate is almost doubled. The book said we would get 436 ft/min on one engine on our day of training, we got somewhere between 700 to 800 ft/min. It also had the Garmin autopilot and adds rudder for you. When we did the initial training a few years ago, we took it to the mountains of Colorado and kept stepping up in the density altitude until we finally got to Leadville on our day at Leadville We had a density of the altitude of 11,500 feet and we climbed at 200 ft./min. on one engine. Pretty amazing performance for normally aspirated Baron.

Finished signing off a customer today in his new Piper M600. What a great plane. We flew to Denver and had a business lunch and I saw some really cool orthopedic technology that my customer is working on. Super cool to see the blessings of a customers hard work and service to the community. We left at 730am and was back before 5pm. What a personal machine, 5.9hours to Denver and back. It will land itself, stop the aircraft and shut the Engine off and notify an emergency with just the push of button or if some reason the cabin goes above 14000ft it will automatically turn on or if the Level button is pushed and no other autopilot response for 2 minutes, amazing where technology has gone.

First transplant flight after a year off of flying Medevac. Some blessed person is getting a new heart tonight. Love flying these Lear jets with old radios, they work so smoothly and tune so well. Flying arrivals with altitudes and speeds keeps you sharp. Have probably one of the best copilots to date and made it all easy. He is just 20 years old! He can fly the heck out of a Learjet, but can’t own a hand gun. Life is good!!

Took a Senior flying today for his first flight. He was playing hooky from soccer practice, but his coach knew we were flying. They spelled “HI” on the field as we flew over his High School, so cool!!
