Since 2007, East County Youth Symphony provides tuition-free music training to children and youth ages 7 to 25. Our students have an opportunity to learn from experienced teachers and orchestra players, and perform at the beautiful Joan B. Kroc Theater at the conclusion of every semester.

This East County Youth Symphony invites you to join its family of supporters with a special gift that will directly fund our Pre-Orchestra Division - violin, viola and cello classes for players ages 7 to 14.

Christian Gonzales, a violin student from Juilliard School of Music, is back to El Cajon where he grew up, to perform with his first orchestra – the East County Youth Symphony – as a soloist.

ECYS Alumnus Christian Gonzales is now studying violin at Juilliard School of Music. He will be performing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto with ECYS Advanced Orchestra on Wednesday, November 15th at 7:00 PM, at the Joan B. Kroc Theater, 6611 University Ave, SD.

Thank you so much to all who donated toward the Greenberg Family Foundation matching grant. WE GOT IT!!! We got all 15k of it. This Marathon brought total of 30k into ECYS 2023 budget. We are very grateful for all help and support we received from San Diego's music and philanthropic communities !!!
