We are delighted to announce the first-ever cultural collaboration in 3 decades history of the Heritage of the Americas Museum, a groundbreaking initiative celebrating artists from Iraq, Mexico, and the United States.

This collaboration brings together the Graphic Design Program at Cuyamaca College, the Unplugged Club, and the Heritage of the Americas Museum in San Diego.

The event will feature an art conference, exhibition, and community workshop, all dedicated to celebrating creativity, dialogue, and cultural diversity.

We are proud to showcase the works and journeys of esteemed artists ‏Waleed R. Al-Qaisi, Aleyda Acuña, and Mensah Bey whose artistic practices and craftsmanship embody diverse cultural perspectives and exceptional creativity.

‏We are pleased to announce the first cultural collaboration (from Iraq, Mexico and United States) in San Diego between Cuyamaca College’s Graphic Design Program, the Unplugged Design Club, and the Heritage of the Americas Museum.

‏This event will feature an art conference, exhibition, and community workshop, celebrating creativity, dialogue, and cultural connection.
