Hello Again! Its 2024 - and I think promises were made that we would try for an official reunion this year. Are folks still interested in that? We only have 73 people on this page. Should we try sharing it some more? or take a vote?

Grossmont is planning to honor our 3 longest serving GHS Principals: Carl Quicksall (1924-1944), Walter Barnett (1959-1976) and Bill Davis (1976-1988) by placing a bronze plaque and a photograph to honor each inside these buildings:

Carl Quicksall: the Old Gym, built in 1935
Walter Barnett: the New Gym, named Barnett Gym previously, built in 1970
Bill Davis: the new school Administration Building, tentative completion date 2014.

If you would like to make a donation, please make the check payable to GHS Educational Foundation and in the memo indicate which principal plaque and photograph you would like it to help fund.

October 26 is the 61st Grossmont v Helix football game. The team is planning to wear retro uniforms. If you'd like to donate toward the uniforms, they are $65 each. For more info, email: [email protected]

Homecoming is Sept 21. The theme is "Wizard of Oz - There's No Place Like Grossmont". There will be a carnival, food truck goodies, and the GHS Museum will be open from 4-7.
