Farm to Fork: Lemonade Day at iNEWTON!

What happens when fresh lemons, strawberries, and a whole lot of curiosity come together? Lemonade fun! 🍋🍓

Our children rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on with the whole experience — preparing the fruit, squeezing fresh lemons, mixing their drinks, and even running their very own lemonade stand.

From the first squeeze to the final sip, it was a day full of smiles, teamwork, and plenty of fun. ☀️💛

Fresh veggies, sweet berries, crunchy carrots... and plenty of goodness to share. 🥕🍓💚

One of our favorite parts of our Farm to Fork program is sharing fresh, locally grown produce with our school families.

Each week, we receive fruits and vegetables from a nearby San Diego farm, and families are welcome to take a bag home to enjoy together.

Whether it's washing strawberries, trying a new veggie, or helping prepare dinner, these little moments can inspire healthy habits that last a lifetime.

From our little garden to the sweetest Lemonade Stand! 🍋🌱✨

Have you ever wondered what "Farm to Table" actually looks like through the eyes of a toddler? 🤔

This month at Inewton Preschool, our little explorers went on a delicious hands-on journey! From rolling up their sleeves in the garden, discovering citrus seeds on the light table, to squeezing fresh lemons and running their very own Lemonade Stand-learning was everywhere! 🍹💵

It’s so much more than making a drink. Watching them carefully handle the lemons, count pretend dollars, and proudly serve their friends was pure magic. They learned where their food comes from, practiced early math, built teamwork, and most importantly... had a total blast! 💛

🎃 The Great Inewton Pumpkin Showdown: Who Will Grow the Biggest One?

If you’ve walked past our yard this week, you might have caught our teachers getting their hands dirty!

This Fall, we’re bringing hands-on learning to life with The Great Pumpkin Challenge. Five of our teachers are going head-to-head to see who can grow the biggest, happiest pumpkin right here at school! 🏆

But it’s so much more than a friendly competition among our team. As our teachers scoop the soil, plant the seeds, and tend to their planters, our little ones get to watch the magic happen step-by-step. They’re learning patience, curiosity, and how a tiny seed turns into something grand with a little love, water, and sunshine. ☀️💧
