Sign up for Choreography today, It’s a super fun class! For the first half of the semester, you’ll learn about stage choreography and the second half will be spent exploring video choreography. Pretty cool, right? So come get your creative on! Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30-1:45. We’d love to see you.

Registration is open! Mask mandates are still in effect but vaccinations are not required. All classes are open. The semester begins August 22. Come dance with us, we'd love to see you! Also, auditions for our Fall dance concert are Friday, August 26 at 2:00 in Room 24-271, choreographers and dancers wanted. The Grossmont College Dance Department’s annual spring faculty choreographed dance concert opens this Thurs, May 12 at the beautiful Performing and Visual Arts Center on campus.

- Tickets are just $10--cash only--at the door. Theater box office opens each night at 6:30pm, doors open at 7pm, and all shows start at 7:30pm.

Spring semester registration is open and there is room in all classes! Maybe your New Year's resolution is to lose a few pounds. Maybe you resolved to be more active. If your looking for some structure, or someone to hold you accountable, why not join us? We are still face-to-face. Classes begin January 31st. We'd love for you to join us, we missed you!

The Grossmont College Dance Department is proud to present: “Breaking Boundaries 2021: A Student Choreographed Dance Concert”. Three performances will be offered in the beautiful Performing and Visual Arts Center on Grossmont college campus Thursday-Friday-Saturday, November 18-19-20 at 7:30pm. Filming for our Spring digital dance concert "Entrances and Exits 2021" has begun! Check out these pics of dancers in Gina Bolles Sorensen's piece on location at their film shoot last weekend. In case you're curious, that's 45 lbs of cabbages all over the ground. It's a modern dance food fight! Keep your eyes peeled for more pics of the process of making our digital dances. The full show comes out mid-May. We can't wait to share our art and showcase our amazing student dancers!

Library Distribution recently concluded, but they have submitted a request for an additional distribution day on February 17th from 12-5:30 pm. If you are a student that would like to borrow a hotspot, please provide your information and they can alert you when the distribution is (hopefully) approved.
