Every step you take helps make a difference for local students. ❤️ All proceeds from the Roberts Family Farm 5K directly benefit the Meade County Schools Family Resource & Youth Services Centers (FRYSC), helping us remove barriers to learning and provide students and families with the support they need to succeed.

Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just looking for a fun morning with family and friends, we'd love to have you join us! Bring your team, invite your neighbors, and help us make this year's event our biggest one yet. Families are encouraged to participate—strollers are welcome, and well-behaved dogs on leashes are invited too! 🐾👶

We are officially in the full swing of things, and we couldn’t be happier! Our days are filled with learning, laughter, new friendships, and lots of fun. We are so proud of how well our students are settling in and all the hard work they are already putting in!

We are loving getting to know each of our students and watching them grow, learn, and shine each day. It’s going to be a GREAT year, Blue Devils! 💙

Today was a wonderful day for our FES/FPS Community Walks! 💙 Our student leaders proudly helped es**rt community members, principals, and district leaders throughout our buildings, giving them a glimpse into the great things happening at Flaherty!

A special thank you to our school and district food service team for providing delicious breakfast treats for our guests! We appreciate everyone who helped make today such a success! 🥐☕💙

Our 6th grade archers will be on the SPMS Archery Team. If your 6th grader is interested in archery, attend this meeting in September. Coach Petersen and Coach McPherson will host a meeting for 4th-5th grade FES archers later in September. More information will be released for this meeting soon.

The SPMS Parent/Archer meeting will be held in the David T Wilson Elementary gym on Thursday, Sep 17th at 6pm. 6th-grade students in the Meade County School District (regardless of their current elementary school), as well as 7th & 8th-grade students attending SPMS who are interested in joining the Archery team, and their parents/guardians are required to attend. Important paperwork will be distributed, physical forms will be accepted, and the coaches will go over additional details about the upcoming season.

MAP Testing is August 25–27! MAP testing is different from a unit test—it measures student achievement and growth and gives our teachers valuable data to better meet each student’s individual learning needs. Please make every effort to have your child at school and present for testing on August 25–27.

Our 6th graders are off to a great start! Students earn PBIS points each day by meeting expectations in areas such as arrival, academics, PRIDE, lunch, recess, specials, and dismissal. Those points add up and lead to a grade-level reward! 🏆 Friday, we got to celebrate these 6th graders who earned their FIRST REWARD!

We are so proud of you! Keep making those positive choices, Blue Devils!

Blue Devils have the first full week of school under thier belts, and they've done an amazing job! Here are a few important reminders for our families—including food, drinks, and items students may bring to school. We appreciate your help reinforcing these guidelines at home!

We had our first Wheel Wednesday of the school year yesterday to celebrate our students who have been working hard to follow our PRIDE expectations. Their hard work can lead to a chance to spin the prize wheel, earn house points, give points to another house, and even win some candy!

We love seeing our students making positive choices, showing PRIDE, and celebrating each other along the way! Keep up the great work, Blue Devils! 💙
