Tomorrow kicks off my 30th season coaching high school football!
I’m beyond grateful to my wife (Sue) & 2 daughters (Brooke & Kara) for always being by my side.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of coaching in 4 incredible districts—Egg Harbor Twp, Barnegat, Lacey Twp & Southern Regional—each shaping my journey in unforgettable ways.

Now, as Head Coach at Egg Harbor Twp, I couldn’t be more excited about the future. Our 101 players have put in the work all off-season, and we are .

For 30 years, I’ve been living the dream—doing what I love alongside amazing coaches, administrators, parents, communities and most importantly, the student-athletes who make me proud every single day.

EHT Football Coaching Staff 2025
• 100% of the coaching staff played College Football
• 3 former Coach of the Year coaches on Staff, each has led programs to championship appearances as Head Coach
• Over 200 wins as Head Coaches on staff
• 2 police officers on staff
• Coaches of Track and Field, Basketball, Baseball, Wrestling and weight room, & a professional powerlifter.

HC - Rob Davis Southern Regional Alum and Longtime Barnegat HC entering year 3 at EHT. Closing in on 100 career wins. Played at William Paterson College. Former Coach of the Year.

OC/QB Coach - Tony DeRosa. Most wins in EHT History as HC. Played at William Paterson College with Coach Davis. Former Coach of the Year.

LB Coach/Strength Coach - Anthony King. Retired police officer, professional power lifter and 2nd season as LB Coach at EHT. Played D2 Football in West Virginia.

DL Coach - Joe Borden. EHT ALUM! Started at OL in HS and at Rowan. Rowan All Decade Team. Coaches Wrestling and Baseball.

OL/DL Special Teams Coach - Dan Jacoby. EHT ALUM! Former multi sport athlete and DT at TCNJ. Coaches Basketball.

RB Coach - Jaiden Abrams. 1st season coaching HS, one of the best RB’s in Hammonton program history. Played at Millersville.

WR/DB Coach -Jeremiah Simmons, police officer, runs a non profit organization in the community. EHT ALUM! Played at Wesley College.

WR/DB Coach - Mike Wiedemann. EHT ALUM! Played at Ursinus. 1st season coaching HS.

Fr. OC - Joe O’Neill. Ocean City alum. Former College Coach, played DT at Abright & was a team Capt.
DC - Steve Scanlon, Former Coach of the year. Former Assistant HC Alvernia Ubiversity. Played at Wesley College & was a Team Capt.
