5th grade students had the privilege of hearing from guest speaker Jeff Zeiger, who told the incredible Holocaust survival story of his father’s family. They were hidden by a non-Jewish neighbor who risked his own life to save theirs. His powerful presentation encouraged reflection on the importance of remembrance, empathy, and standing up against hatred and intolerance. Thank you for sharing your time and perspective, helping our students better understand history and the responsibility we all share in creating a more compassionate future. 🦅
