Welcome Back, Pioneers!
Day 1 is officially in the books as we kick off the 2026–2027 school year! What a joy it was to welcome our students and families back for another exciting year at The Pilgrim Academy.
This year, our school theme is “Growing in Gratitude!” Inspired by 2 Corinthians 4:15:
“For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.”
As we grow in gratitude, we are also nurturing a deeper appreciation for God, His grace, and all that He has done for us. May our gratitude overflow in the way we live, serve, encourage, and care for others—because gratitude is contagious!

The final week of Big Red Summer Camps wrapped up with an exciting week of volleyball! A huge thank you to Mr. Jeremy Sahl for leading our volleyball camp and sharing his knowledge of the game with our campers. From learning the fundamentals of setting, bumping, and serving to practicing new techniques, our campers had a blast improving their skills.
One of the best parts of camp is finding creative ways to make learning fun! Whether we were using beach balls or oversized soccer balls for games and drills, there were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great memories made along the way. Thank you to everyone who helped make this another fantastic week of Big Red Summer Camps!

Our greatest need is to depend on God! This summer at TPA, we are looking for 240 families or individuals to commit to pray for us for 15 minutes each between July 20th and July 22nd. We'd like to devote 55 continuous hours of prayer for the 55 years of ministry God has given us. Big Red Summer Camp – Week 3: Science & Art Camps!
A huge thank you to Mrs. Jenn Bailey for leading an exciting week of Science Camp and showing our campers just how much fun science can be! Campers put their engineering skills to the test by building creative structures with pretzels and marshmallows, explored exciting chemical reactions by creating their own erupting volcanoes, and wrapped up the week by making homemade ice cream—a sweet way to celebrate all they learned!
Our Art Camp, led by Mrs. Katherine Aikens, also had a fantastic week filled with creativity and imagination. Campers explored painting techniques, created unique works of art, and even made some adorable little art friends along the way. It was another wonderful week of learning, creating, and having fun at Big Red Summer Camp!

Week 2 of Big Red Camps was a huge success, featuring Soccer, Art, and Photography!
⚽ Soccer Camp, led by Coach Dan Ortiz, spent the week sharpening footwork skills, participating in friendly competitions, and wrapping up the week with an exciting water day.
🎨 Art Camp, led by Mrs. Katherine Aikens, got creative with projects like handmade tic-tac-toe boards and spray painting, before celebrating the end of the week with a fun-filled art piñata.
📸 Photography Camp, led by Mr. Josiah Wiggins, explored the school through the lens of a camera, capturing unique perspectives and competing to take the standout photo of the week.
A big thank-you to all of our Big Red Campers for bringing such great energy and enthusiasm. We loved having you with us and look forward to more summer fun ahead!
