Students and staff were fortunate to engage with Dr. Brian Kahn. Dr. Kahn is part of that generation of children and grandchildren of survivors and victims, sharing stories of their family during the Holocaust. He has been teaching the Holocaust since the early 1990's, both at the secondary and post secondary levels and has published several articles in national and international journals dealing with this subject. He serves as the cochair for the Holocaust Education Center of the Champaign Urbana Jewish Federation, while sharing the legacy of his family's experiences during the Holocaust.

Students and staff are so excited about the arrival of Mrs. Maisie’s baby boy, Titus! They put together a Winnie the Pooh (Mrs. Maisie’s favorite) themed baby shower to celebrate. The students (with some help from teachers) did an amazing job of planning, decorating (with the help of Mrs. Dannielle’s talents), and pulling off an amazing surprise!
