Learning new skills can be HARD and overwhelming! Scissor skills were practiced on mediums different than craft paper. Rulers were introduced and used to measure, mark and cut where appropriate. Tying/knot skills were introduced and it was realized that those seemingly "easy" knots can be difficult to understand, manipulate and replicate. After trials and tribulations, frustration and breaks the feelings of joy at accomplishing a challenging task prevailed and new, handmade blankets are being thoroughly enjoyed😉

Getting ready for fun April activities! Bought my Fabric Finally today!

Meet the team behind our initiative! Both women are neighbors, who share common interests in today's youth having affordable access to explore many different areas of interest that they many not necessarily have the opportunity to otherwise.

It is no secret that this area is scarce when it comes to enrichment activities for children. Many of us find ourselves driving at least 1 hour in any direction in order to participate in events offered throught New England.

Our program is about utilizing connections built over our lifetimes to bring unique learning opportunities to this community for children to discover and enjoy, while also building connections and friendships with each other.

JoAnn's is having many sales....go to your local store and pick out your own OR choose from their pre-picked kits that currently range from $3-$20

Walmart also has sales and you can even find 1.5 yard bundles in the store's clearance sections (varies by location) these bundles are the perfect size for children.

Hobby Lobby also had affordable pricing on fabrics.

Sprouting Garlic greens! One of the best ways to use your garlic that has gone by, sprouting the greens and cutting them with Scissors to use for salads, soups, sandwiches, and other seasonings❤️
