Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Hoppsโ classes teamed up yesterday for an exciting Greek Mythology STEM Challenge inspired by the myth of Atlas! Students worked together to design and build a tower that could โhold the worldโ using only popsicle sticks and tape.
The challenge? Their tower had to be at least 20 cm tall and strong enough to hold a tennis ball for 10 seconds! We were so impressed by the creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills our students showed throughout the activity.

๐ซ๐ซ Mrs. Stewardโs class has been hard at work learning all about the human body systems! Students traced each other to create life-sized body outlines and then added the different body systems theyโve been studying. It was a fun, hands-on way to bring science to life while showing off their creativity and teamwork. Great job, students! ๐ง ๐ฆด๐

Yesterday was Student Takeover Day in Ms. Leeโs classroom! Students got the chance to step into the role of the teacher and quickly learned that teaching is not always easy. From keeping classmates focused and managing transitions to explaining answers clearly, even with an answer key, our students gained a whole new appreciation for what teachers do each day! They did an amazing job taking on leadership roles and we are proud of them!

Students explored the buildings, learned about what to expect next year, and got excited about all the opportunities waiting for them. We are so proud of our soon-to-be middle schoolers and canโt wait to see all they accomplish!
