The Collinsville Kahoks Ice Hockey Club will be observing the Collinsville High School Summer Dead Period from June 29 through July 5. We want to stay aligned with the high school.

As required by the IHSA, CHS will have its annual Summer Dead Period from Monday, June 29 through Sunday, July 5.

During this time, there will be no contact between Collinsville coaches and current or future Kahok students participating in IHSA-sponsored sports and activities. Additionally, school facilities may not be used for practices, open gyms, conditioning, camps, clinics, competitions, weight training, or any other activity-related functions.

This week provides an opportunity for students, coaches, and families to step away from their busy schedules, recharge, spend time together, and prepare for another exciting year ahead.

Summer activities will resume on Monday, July 6, as we continue building toward the 2026-27 hockey season and school year.

Enjoy the week, make great memories with family and friends, and come back ready to work hard, compete, and represent the 🟣⚪️ with pride.

🚨 OFF-ICE TRAINING CANCELED TONIGHT 🚨

Due to storms moving into the area at the same time as our scheduled Off-Ice Training session, we will be canceling tonight's workout for everyone's safety.

Also, please remember that there will be no Off-Ice Training next week as we kick off our On-Ice Summer Camp, running June 25th through June 27th.

We appreciate everyone's dedication and effort throughout the off-ice sessions so far. Off-ice will start back up on June 29th. Now it's time to get back on the ice!

Our On-Ice Team Scrimmage was a huge success!

It was great to see the players trusting one another, making smart passes, communicating, and building chemistry on the ice. Even better, everyone seemed to be having a blast. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and positive energy throughout the night.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a great turnout. Nights like this are what help strengthen our team both on and off the ice. The future is looking bright for the Kahoks!

Kahoks, don't forget about our On-Ice Team Scrimmage tomorrow, June 15th, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at East Alton Ice Arena!

This is all about getting together, having fun, and building team chemistry before the season. Come out, hit the ice, bond with your teammates, and enjoy a great night of hockey.

All players from 2014 birth year through last season's seniors are welcome. We hope to see everyone there!

🔥 Monday's off-ice training was definitely a hot one, but the players who showed up came ready to work! They pushed through the heat, put in a great effort, and continued building strength, speed, and teamwork for the season ahead.

We were also excited to introduce one of our new assistant coaches, Joel Arnold, to the team. Welcome to the Kahok family, Coach Joel!

To wrap up the night, the players battled it out in a game of Ultimate Frisbee. They gave it their all, but the coaches eventually had to step in and show them how it's done! 😉🏆

Great work by everyone who came out and put in the effort. Keep showing up, keep working hard, and keep getting better!
