Dr. Danielle Allen and Dr. Jerrica Ampadu attended the AACN ACE conference this past week and presented a poster, 'Built to Believe: How Learning Environments Predict Self-Efficacy in Undergraduate Nursing Students”.

The WeCare Clinic was honored by the East St. Louis School District for helping them achieve 100% student health compliance for the '25-'26 School Year! That is an incredible accomplishment.

Our graduating DNP students did a great job presenting their DNP projects on Friday, May 1st, at the MUC. The 1st photo includes FNP and PMHNP students and faculty. The 2nd photo features CRNA students and faculty.

SIUE Student Nurses Association held its annual Glo Bingo fundraiser. Fun was had by all.

Several students were honored on April 16 at the BJC HealthCare Student Nurse Symposium: Dara Gestes, Kendra Erdman, Cierra Moye, Emma Sneddon, Katelyn Gutmann, Rylee Thomas, and Kallie Havera. SIUE SON alumna (2025) McKenzie Widel was featured as a guest speaker to share her first year working as a nurse. We were all impressed and proud to know she was an SIUE grad.

Our own Dean Judy Liesveld was on hand on Sunday, May 3, for the traditional Late Night Breakfast to kick off finals week at the Morris University Center.
