Rising TGR senior, Gwen, has openings this summer for violin lessons! Gwen is an award winning violinist and Irish fiddle player and is the concertmaster of the EHS Symphonic Orchestra. She would love to work with any beginner through intermediate violinists who want to stay in shape over the summer. She would also love to help any students who will be playing in orchestra for the first time in the fall to get to know their violins before their first day in orchestra. Though her focus is violin, she is also an excellent pianist and can also teach piano! Please reach out to book lessons with Gwen today and share with others who may be interested!

This Saturday Zinnia is representing the MFMC District IV Virtuoso Club at the MFMC State Piano Competition! She was awarded the opportunity to compete at State when she won the District competition last month. We had a great last lesson yesterday and she is Ready to give a fabulous performance of Schumann's Aufschwung at the competition. Break a leg, Zinnia! Our studio had an amazing weekend performing at the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival! Students performed in piano solo, piano concerto, hymn playing, pop piano, sight-reading, art song, and musical theater AND took music theory tests! We came home with a massive pile of blue ribbons and a stack of score sheets filled with wonderful supportive and constructive comments...and I couldn't be more proud of every student that represented our studio! Bravo, Green Room! You all are AMAZING!!!
Camilla and Jacob have been friends for many years and have always loved singing together. They're now both in nursing school but still feel the need to sing and cherish opportunities to perform together. This weekend they'll be singing in the adult vocal duet category at Federation. We are thick in preparation for the NFMC Festival right now with just 10 days of preparation left! Bea has entered the pop piano division this year in addition to playing her two classical pieces and is having a blast preparing!
Miles has already passed two levels in just 10 short weeks and is on fire at the piano! What a great start to his journey here in The Green Room in his early morning lessons before school. Watch out for this young pianist...he has a bright future ahead!! 😎 Bravo, Miles!

Last night TGR cousins, Henry and Kaitlyn, competed in the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation Teen Talent competition and Molly performed with the vocal ensemble! I hear it was an AMAZING evening and that they all performed beautifully!
I'm so proud of all of my students and try to get to as many performances as possible to support them out and about in the world...but because of the winter storm the competition was unexpectedly moved up by a day and I had a prior commitment So I couldn't attend. Thank you to my sister who was able to be there and took these fabulous photos!
