JOB DESCRIPTION: Test Administrator (Part-time)
LOCATION: LEWIS & CLARK CAMPUS – BLDG N8, RM 103, 600 TROY RD., EDWARDSVILLE, IL
PAY: $15/HR
DUTIES:
- Administer computer-based tests at the testing facility on Saturdays (and other days during the week when available) from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Before opening, make sure all delivery machines are operational and supplies are ready, check battery status of cameras
- Greet candidates, check IDs per Pearson specifications, have candidates read and sign rules and log sheet, administer the computerized check-in process
- Instruct candidates to stow all possessions (including watches and contents of pockets) in lockers and turn off/silence phones before stowing
- Es**rt candidates to the test delivery PC and log them in for their test
- Monitor candidates for cheating and/or disruptive behavior during testing
- Investigate or troubleshoot technical problems (with help of Pearson tech support if needed)
- Upon completion of the test, deliver results to candidates when they exit the testing room, sign them out on the log sheet
- At the end of the day, turn off monitors, lock doors, rinse off white boards, check status of camera batteries
- With training and assistance, pass the test to become a certified PearsonVUE test administrator

PROCEDURES:
- Any leave requests must be submitted in writing to test center manager 30 days in advance of requested leave date.
