We're thrilled to announce the opening of the Jungle Zone Indoor Play Area! Bring your little ones (ages 0-6) for a fun-filled adventure in our parent-supervised soft play area.

🗓️ Opening Day: Tuesday, August 18, 2026
⏰ Hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 10 am - 11 am (Longer hours coming in September!)

Enjoy a FREE TRIAL for the rest of August! Starting in September, access will be just $25 per family, per month.

How to Register:

Register through CYPBMS.

Please have shot records ready for registration.

Be sure to register all children who will be participating.

The Jungle Zone is located on Kincheloe Ave, Bldg 7210 in the same building as Subway.

We wanted to take a moment to shout out Mrs Rose from Toddler 1! Mrs. Rose was coined by inspectors during our Higher Headquarters Unannounced Inspection this week as a DAF CYP Hero!

Inspectors commended Mrs Rose for the warm, welcoming, caring environment that she has created in Toddler 1. Her passion for working with children shines through in everything she does, inspiring curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love of learning. Together with her team, she has built a classroom culture that fosters exploration, meaningful relationships, and joyful learning experiences every day.

Thank you, Mrs. Rose, for the care, dedication, and positive impact you make in the lives of our children and families! We are so grateful to have you as part of our Edwards CDC team!

Pretoddler 3!

Congratulations to Row, Beth, Ashlee, and Malory on being selected as our Team of the Month!
This team consistently demonstrates what it means to be dependable, loving, and caring educators. They show up each day with a genuine commitment to providing the children in their care with a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. Their dedication goes far beyond simply completing their daily responsibilities—they continually go the extra mile to ensure that both the children and their families receive the best childcare experience possible.
Together, they have built strong and meaningful relationships with the children and their parents. They take the time to get to know each child individually, create connections with families, and make everyone feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Their consistency and compassion help create a classroom environment where children can thrive and families can feel confident knowing their children are in good hands.
Row, Beth, Ashlee, and Malory are a team that can be counted on. They support one another, step up when needed, and work together to ensure the needs of the children, families, and center are met. Their teamwork, dedication, and willingness to always do a little more truly make a difference.
We are incredibly grateful for the love, care, and dedication each of you brings to our center every day. Thank you for going above and beyond and for making a lasting impact on the children and families you serve. Congratulations on being our Team of the Month!

Our August employee of the month is…. Ms. Madi from Pretoddler 1!!

Madi is truly deserving of Teacher of the Month recognition for her consistency, dedication, and strong presence in the classroom. She is a dependable and motivated teacher who comes to work ready to give her best each day. Madi is a true go-getter who takes initiative, steps up when needed, and is always willing to go the extra mile for the children and her team.
Madi is someone her co-teachers and coworkers can count on. She is supportive, helpful, and always willing to step in wherever she is needed. Her positive attitude and willingness to work together make her a valuable part of our team.
One of Madi’s greatest strengths is the meaningful relationships she has built with both the children and their families. She creates a welcoming and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, cared for, and valued. She has also taken the time to build strong relationships with parents, creating trust and open communication that makes families feel confident in the care their children receive.
Madi’s consistency, teamwork, initiative, and genuine dedication to the children make her an outstanding example of what it means to be an exceptional teacher. We are grateful to have Madi on our team!

This month we are also introducing Team of the Month!

We are proud to recognize the incredible team in Room 3—Ms. Cherish, Ms. Kisha, and Ms. Rachel—for their outstanding dedication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to the children and families they serve.
Together, they have created a warm, welcoming, and nurturing classroom where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn and grow. Their ability to work collaboratively, support one another, and maintain a positive environment each day is a true reflection of their professionalism and passion for early childhood education.

Despite the many challenges, including staffing changes and the ever-changing demands of the classroom, this team has remained flexible, dependable, and child-focused. They consistently step up to support one another, communicate effectively, and ensure that every child receives the love, patience, and quality care they deserve.

Their dedication extends beyond the children—they build strong relationships with families and serve as a positive example for their colleagues through their kindness, teamwork, and willingness to help wherever needed.
