🧪 Learning Biology Hands-On! 🧬
Edna High School Biology students got hands-on with osmosis through an egg lab in Mrs. Matula's classes! With the eggshell removed, the egg membrane acted like a cell membrane as students observed water moving across the membrane from an area of higher water concentration to lower water concentration—causing changes in the egg’s size and mass.

🍎🌳 Johnny Appleseed Week 🌳🍎

Ms. Thedford’s class had an apple-solutely fun week celebrating Johnny Appleseed! Students explored whether apples sink or float, made apple volcanoes and applesauce, counted seeds, tasted apples, created apple stamps, and learned about the parts of an apple and how apples grow. 🍏🌱

They also learned the story of Johnny Appleseed in honor of his September 26th birthday! 🍎📚

We love seeing learning come to life through hands-on activities! 💙🤍
