Even COVID-19 can't stop us from learning and having fun together! Little Pinecones students have been growing bean plants, dressing up as dinosaurs, and making volcanoes erupt through our distance learning curriculum! I'm so proud of my students and their families for continuing to work hard and stay safe during this unusual time in history.

Gung Hay Fat Choy! The children at Little Pinecones celebrated Chinese New Year with a delicious feast of tea, rice, and fortune cookies. We practiced cooking in our Little Dragon's Chinese Restaurant, played games like Feed the Dragon, made paper lanterns, and even wore costumes for a parade!

Today, Little Pinecones students had a guest speaker from the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS Animal Shelter) come and tell them about how we can help animals by being kind and providing a good home to them. Students also donated two large boxes full of clean, used towels and blankets to be used at the shelter.
