So, meet Ashley!

Ashley spent four years at WSU tutoring Division I athletes through upper-level chemistry and math, which means she's spent a lot of time helping people who are managing seventeen things at once and still need to understand differential equations.
She has a B.S. in Chemistry with minors in Math and Biology, and she's headed to medical school. But what makes her remarkable as a tutor isn't just the credentials; it's that she genuinely understands what its like to feel overwhelmed and still need to show up.

Meet Sadie, her compassionate, student-led approach is what defines her as an outstanding tutor working with our method: holistic, socratic, and meeting students where they are, no matter where that might be.

She's currently on her way to medical school, inspiring students and showing them the foundational academics that proffers something extraordinary. She works with students in grades 5 through 12 across everything from arithmetic to calculus, chemistry to biology. What I am most impressed with is Sadie’s patience; a skill that’s imperative in STEM education.

Sadie's approach is student-led. She works primarily with kids who feel anxious or discouraged about math and science; the ones who've started to believe they're just "not a math person." Sadie tends to disagree.

Hi parents! This fall, I have begun college admissions consulting with a few students in our community. After attending conferences and observing the environment around college admissions consulting, I have decided to expand my practice as a resource that is in line with my personal teaching style.

With a continued use of holistic approaches for students, my practice will continue to be defined by goal-centered, personalized sessions that we decide upon together. We will discuss more than just academics –– we will work to represent a student’s academic and personal life through an application that is comprehensive, compassionate, and confident.

I am opening this practice to two additional students this fall. Thank you!

Hi parents! I have a new program, specially designed for you! Through Foghorn Education Center, I will be doing a talk at the Marina Beach Park on the morning of September 14th, discussing the PNW from land to sea –– ocean tides, whales, history, marine life, driftwood, mindfulness, and more! For the past year now, I have been writing and teaching curriculums on PNW history, marine life, and the ocean. By a popular demand, I have now changed this curriculum to share my knowledge with parents and adults.
