The thoughtful planning and meaningful learning experiences you create each day are evident in everything you do. You provide your students with a strong foundation, preparing them for a successful transition into Preschool while fostering a love of learning along the way. 🌿🦖🐾 Our teachers have been hard at work creating some amazing dramatic play experiences! From a dinosaur nest, to a veterinary clinic where children can adopt their very own pet, to a rainforest/jungle adventure and even a safari! 🦒🌴

Dramatic play gives children the opportunity to learn hands-on through play, act things out, use their imaginations, and gain a deeper understanding of what they’re learning about.

The creativity and thought our teachers bring to our dramatic play areas is truly something special! We love seeing them turn learning into an experience our children can see, touch, explore, and PLAY! 💚

Last night we celebrated our August teacher of the month, Melody, at Bucatini with delicious food, wonderful conversation and amazing service ❤️

Melody, thank you for all that you bring to our school, and our Ones Gray classroom. Your love for your students is apparent in your interactions with them and the loving care you provide each day. Your parent communication & daily updates are noticed by all, and so appreciated by the parents in your class. You bring such a willingness to lend a helping hand which makes you such a valuable team member. We appreciate your daily commitment to Trike, and to your students. 💕

Today we celebrate Melody on a year at Trike! 💐

Melody, Thank you for an incredible year of toddler care. Thank you for being such a wonderful communicator with parents, the students, and your coworkers. You can see how much you love your students through the wonderful care you provide each day. We appreciate the respect you give to everyone around you, and appreciate that you are always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. You truly make Trike a better place. 🏕️🌲 Young 2’s Red has gone CAMPING! 🌲🏕️

Our Young 2’s have been having a camp-tastic time exploring the great outdoors right inside their classroom! 🥾⛺

🏕️ Camping Dramatic Play: Their dramatic play area was transformed into a fun campground complete with campsites, a camp store, firewood, a packing checklist, a tent, and even cozy “firewood” pillows!

🛶 Canoe Rental: The fun didn't stop there! Our little campers created their very own “canoe rental” stocked with homemade canoes for the children to explore. They even got to take their canoes outdoors for some extra camping adventures! 🌲🛶

🔺 Magna-Tile Camping Challenge: Our campers practiced problem-solving and visual matching by using Magna-Tiles to recreate pictures of camping favorites like tents, kayaks, and flashlights!

🎨 Muddy Art: And what is camping without getting a little muddy?! Our friends got to embrace the mess with a fun “mud paint” art activity! 🪵🤎

There’s nothing better than learning through imaginative play, creativity, and a little bit of messy fun! We can't wait for S'more adventures with our two-year-olds! 🔥🍫🏕️
