University of Central Oklahoma Alumni & Friends We aim to foster relationships among alumni and friends while advocating for the benefit of UCO.

The Alumni Association was founded on June 12, 1902, to promote the general welfare of UCO and its mission on behalf and through the support of its members. The Association is governed by an elected body called the Alumni Board of Directors.

Here's a roundup of what's happening in our backyard this month! 👉 So much to see and do around Edmond:

🎶 Concerts in the Park: Happening today! Lawn chairs, blankets, and live music under the stars. 6-8:30 pm at Stephenson Park with Erin Michelle and Kentucky Daisy. Free and family-friendly!

🍔 Heard on Hurd: Free live music, local shops, and 30+ food trucks every 3rd Saturday, 6-10 pm on Broadway. Free to attend; grab your friends!

🎈 Route 66 Centennial Balloon Festival: 5 days, a dozen+ hot air balloons, and 100 years of Route 66. Sept 23-27, 7 am-8 pm daily in Arcadia. Tickets start at $14.

🐎 Bronchtoberfest: Homecoming Weekend kicks off right. Sept 25, 5 pm at The Barlor. Free to attend, good food, good drinks, good people.

💙 UCO Homecoming Alumni Tailgate: See you in Lot 47! Sept 26, 5 pm, right before the 7 pm kickoff. Free and open to all; bring your crew!

🎃 Scarecrow Contest: Calling all UCO groups! Build a scarecrow, compete for cash prizes (top 3 take home the win), and get it placed in Downtown Edmond by October 1st. Materials pickup starts this week at Silver Leaf Gems, 15 W Campbell St - Wed-Fri 9am-4pm, Sat 10am-2pm.

🍦 College Daze at Roxy's: Every Tuesday, college students, faculty, and staff get 10% off with a college ID. Sweet deal alert!

🍺 Frenzy Brewing Live Music: Thirsty Thursdays just got better. Live music every Thursday at 7 pm.

🍸 Alchemy Cocktail Lounge: Edmond's most intriguing new spot. Moody, gothic vibes and classic cocktails downtown.

Call Dibs on a campus spot and direct your gift to Central Pantry!

Serving between 700 and 1,200 individuals monthly, Central Pantry is a crucial resource for our community. Last academic year alone, 4,200 visits supported over 10,000 people.

This demonstrates a significant and growing need: over the past five years, pantry check-ins have surged by 250%, and the total number of people served has increased by 230%.
