🌱 If you’re the kind of teacher who believes childhood should be muddy, magical, and meaningful… keep reading. 🐓

We’re hiring a Preschool Teacher for our 3-year-old classroom at Keystone Adventure School & Farm—and this is not your typical preschool job.

At Keystone, you won’t be stuck inside four walls following a rigid curriculum.
You’ll be part of a 15-acre working farm and art-based school where children learn through curiosity, exploration, and real-life experiences. (Keystone Adventure School and Farm)

That means your classroom might look like:
• Helping a child feed goats before circle time
• Watching confidence grow as a 3-year-old learns to take care of themselves
• Exploring the creek, pond, garden, and open spaces together
• Supporting social-emotional growth just as much as academics
• Building a true community of children, families, and teachers

We believe children are naturally curious, capable learners—and your job is to help protect that, not control it. (Keystone Adventure School and Farm)

✨ We’re looking for YOU if:
• You have 3–5 years of experience with young children
• You have a degree (Early Childhood Education preferred)
• You’re flexible, collaborative, and think outside the box
• You care deeply about helping children become independent, confident humans
• You know that strong classrooms are built on relationships and community

🌻 What makes this place different (and why teachers stay):
• Small, relationship-driven classrooms with individualized learning
• A school culture built around play, art, and project-based learning (MetroFamily Magazine)
• Time and space for children to truly be children—not rush through childhood
• A team that values creativity, autonomy, and joy in teaching
• Daily access to animals, nature, and outdoor learning environments

💼 And yes—we take care of our teachers too:
• Competitive salary
• Strong benefits
• A workplace that actually aligns with your values

If you’ve ever felt like traditional classrooms don’t match what you know children really need…
this might be the place you’ve been looking for.

To everyone wondering how our Keystone critters are handling the snow—they’re snug as can be! With eight inches of winter wonder outside, our llamas, sheep, donkeys, and our star goat are all cozy in the barn. Yes, they bicker over the best hay spot—but they’ve got each other laughing in no time. They’re safe, warm, and daydreaming of green pastures and excited kids!!

Stay warm and safe!!
