From a facility tour, to a deep dive into their marketing playbook, students learned exactly what it takes to launch a premier destination in OKC.

Students met with the airport’s communications team and learned the importance of keeping the public educated and informed on airport operations, the strategy behind promoting new travel destinations, and how vital communication is in ensuring a great travel experience for the airport’s 4.5 million+ annual passengers.

While millions watched the Super Bowl, alumna Perla Tovar (Professional Media, Fall 2024) was behind the scenes helping make it happen.

As a stagehand, she supported production setup and teardown and assisted PixMob with LED field lighting, helping bring one of the largest live events in history to life.
