First Day Nerves? Here’s How We Turn Them Into Strength

This morning, her backpack looked like it could swallow her whole.
First day back to school — a brand new teacher, a room full of unfamiliar faces.

She smiled for the photo, but I could see it in her eyes… that flicker of worry.

As you all probably know, the last few YEARS have been big for Ridley & I. Lots of chaos & fear followed by a lot of beautiful change [but change nonetheless].
With BIG life things comes BIG emotions for a little person & sometimes channeling those BIG emotions results in BIG behaviors (iykyk).
The last few weeks have been rough & tough for Ridley & I & I am beyond thankful for her to have Pride Mixed Martial Arts not only as an MMA gym, but as a safe haven, a place to feel safe in voicing her feelings & learning from her mistakes & for me, to have a true partner in parenting some of these rough seasons. if we don't say it & brag enough, we love you!
