We’re excited to host our very first Parent Café at Heartland on April 20 from 5:30–8:00 PM.
This isn’t a presentation or a lecture. It’s a chance to sit down with other parents, have real conversations about the wins and challenges of raising a family, and walk away with ideas you can actually use.
You’ll rotate through small group discussions using guided questions built around the Five Protective Factors that help families thrive. No experts. No pressure. Just honest conversation in a space designed to be supportive and safe.
Dinner and childcare are provided at no cost to make it as easy as possible to attend.
Spots are limited, so be sure to register early. If we fill up, we’ll create a waitlist and keep you posted on future events.

If you’ve experienced or witnessed safety concerns, please consider sharing your voice.
🚦Attend the meeting: March 16, 1:30 p.m., OKC Municipal Building at 200 N Walker Ave
🚦Or email your comments to: [email protected]
If you can’t attend, HPO will share your statement at the hearing.
Student safety matters. Your input can help move this forward.

Two things!
1. Nominate your favorite teacher to win a char”cute”able delivered tomorrow! Teachers work hard and need something to help see them through the day! 2. We were having a discussion about the loss of community and the losses that stem from it, especially manners and respect. It is a big conversation that I think ultimately lies in kindness for and to others. One of the reasons I do this giveaway is to promote kindness and make sure those who are doing their best are recognized for it.
