Meet Fall 2025 Class Marshal Zoe E. Adam, a forensic science–forensic investigations and French major with a 4.0 GPA in the UCO College of Liberal Arts. Zoe is a recipient of the Academic Honors Scholarship and the Diogenes Study Tour Scholarship. After graduation, she plans to teach abroad and pursue her master’s degree.
We asked Zoe a few questions about her UCO experience. Here’s what she shared:
What is one accomplishment or experience at UCO that you are most proud of?
“My most meaningful experience at UCO was participating in a study tour in France, where I was able to fully immerse myself in the culture. I created lifelong friendships and memories that will stay with me always. This experience was also a major factor in inspiring my desire to go abroad and teach.”
What is a piece of advice you would share with future Bronchos?
“My advice for anyone in any field of study at UCO would be to never give up, even when you feel overwhelmed. Stay committed to your goals, trust the process and remember that consistency and discipline can carry you through anything. You’re capable of accomplishing more than you think—just keep going.”
Is there anything fun or unique you want included in your spotlight?
“During my time at UCO, I have been fortunate to learn from some truly amazing professors. I would especially like to recognize Dr. Appleby and Dr. Webster in the Modern Languages Department and Dr. Mabry in Forensic Science. Their unwavering support has shaped my journey and will continue to guide me in the future.”
