Aneesah S. Perkins was born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. Aneesah graduated from Langston University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, with a minor in Architecture while studying extensively at the University of Texas at Arlington while attending college, Aneesah opened her first business at the age of twenty-two as a flora list, wedding planner, and designer. Perkins's first business was named ''Byron Blake's Floral Designs. '' It was later upgraded, to ''The Garden of Eden Boutique & Spa.'' Aneesah was certified through Tela Flora and became the first Two -day wedding planner in the state of Oklahoma. Inspiration flourished and Aneesah created ''Mahogany Brides Magazine U.S.” in 2011 and launched the magazine January 1, 2012 for Brides and Grooms all over the world. Mahogany Brides Magazine U.S. inspired her to create a television show called ''Mahogany Bride and Groom’s Weddings TV Series ”which also flourished into a Tuxedo and bridal line. The fashionista came back alive and created the Oklahoma, Dallas, Palm Springs Chapter fashion chamber and incubator. The fashion chamber and incubator is the first of its kind. Perkins connected with designers from all over to create the board as well as the designers to give an amazing presence and quality based company. ‘Aneesah Perkins’s stated ‘I wanted to spread my wings and grow I decided to move to the state of Texas.’ Texas welcomed Perkins with love and respect and she fell in love with the people and the opportunities that were offered. However, she did not let anything stop her so she created a fashion chamber and incubator just for the state of Texas and called it the ‘Dallas Chamber of Fashion Designers.’ The Dallas Chamber of Fashion Designers has created an amazing presence and fashionable platform to help models and designers showcase their talent. Many known fashion designers has partnered with her from around the world such Andres Aquino (New York Couture Fashion Week), Houda El F**k Eddiouane (Amsterdam Fashion Week), Liberia National Tailor Union Delegates, Gambia Fashion Weekend and many more just to name a few. The Dallas Chamber of Fashion Designers has produced many designers and brands within the last 4 years it has been open. The first fashion showcase was created in 2015 and it was called the ‘Dallas International Fashion Festival.’ The fashion show was a success and many more fashion weeks and etc flourished and is produced every 6 months. Perkins began to get more request to showcase her line so she produced her first full line at the ‘US International Fashion Week’ and has worked on additional lines and has been apart of several other fashion weeks around the world. The first international fashion showcase Perkins attend was through the platform called ‘Beautiful You Fashion Tour’ and she create a little girls line in memory of her daughter called Glitter Girls and she went to Canada. Canada embraced Aneesah and Aneesah felt at home. Nevertheless, she tends to travel back and produce her own showcase in the near future. Within the last 3 years Perkins just began to get write-ups, interviews and etc for her hard work and dedication in the fashion industry. In 2017 Perkins won the best fashion designer award out of Chicago, IL by the ‘Red Carpet Concierge Film Festival’ and many other awards for her ability to design, direct and produce in the entertainment industry. Poetry and art inspired her to write plays, movies, and books. Aneesah, an author, writes her own experiences as a single woman, and a married woman with three children. Faith was taught at an early age. It was from this experience ''WOW'' Walking on Waters Productions was created. The book, play, TV Series and soon to be movie called “LOVE BANK” is her first film and fashion achievement. A woman of many talents, Aneesah does not only love to design with fabric but with food and metal and not to mention she is able to create furniture fabric designs and more. But that’s not it Aneesah loves to empower men, women and youth. By second nature Spring of 2017 Aneesah became a brand ambassador for makeup lines and speaking national and international platforms As a great up and coming designer; Perkins wants to help others and herself in the fashion industry. With a great plan in mind Perkins wishes to put fashion chambers and incubators around the world and become a household name and brand. Her latest work is shown at the ''Dallas International Fashion Festival'' week (Spring 2018).
