Everyone enjoy the warmth and stay safe through this weekend’s winter storm.

This was such an enjoyable conversation to overhear as a teacher.

Middle school science students studied from an offline worksheet in a small group. The magic of this convo came from the roles we saw them evolve into without teacher intervention.

I’ve witnessed students who would never speak up in a traditional classroom transform, confidently leading the read aloud and organizing the team to refocus if the giggles got them a bit off track.

It’s a proud teacher moment. Our students are talented, caring, intelligent, and confident learners who are demonstrating independence and personal accountability.
