If you have ever been curious about how to get involved with the PTO or what we all do we would love to meet you! We are meeting on Monday, April 27th at 10am at Beacon Coffee Stand.

This is not a commitment meeting simply an interest and informational meeting.

Many volunteers serve in different ways from 2 hours a month to 2 hours a week . We can place volunteers based on schedules and interests.

If your child is currently in a Deer Creek Pre-K program, you will complete the Returning Student Annual Update. Kindergarteners who will be new to the district will complete the New Student process!

It is Valentine Gram Season! Your kiddos should have received the Grams in their take home folder this week. As a PTO this is a great way that we raise funds for our school and it so much fun!

With these Grams you can purchase for your kid's whole classroom for a discount of $1 a gram which can be used as Valentine Cards for classroom Parties! Let us do the work for you!

Dr. Jason Perez, Deer Creek Superintendent, will be joining us to walk through the 2026 Bond Proposal and answer questions from families. Everyone is welcome! We'll see you there!

You’re invited to join us for our February PTO Meeting THIS MONDAY, February 2, at 4:15pm in the Rose Union Library!

Our district will soon be voting on the 2026 Bond Proposal, and we’re grateful to welcome Dr. Jason Perez, Deer Creek Superintendent, who will walk families through what the bond includes and answer questions along the way. This is a great opportunity to stay informed and feel confident about what’s ahead for our schools.

Whether this is your very first PTO meeting or you’re a familiar face, we’d love to see you there. Everyone is welcome!

The warmer temperatures and sunshine have improved road conditions in our area tremendously today. Although the roads are not completely clear, we do believe that cars and buses can travel our community safely in the morning. With that in mind, school will resume tomorrow, Friday, January 30, 2026.

We appreciate your patience over the last week as we’ve navigated significant weather conditions and had to make the difficult decision to close school to ensure our students and staff were safe.

Please note the following information:

🔵 Buses will run in the morning. However, some routes may take longer than usual due to lingering conditions. Families are encouraged to monitor bus activity through the My Ride K-12 app.

🔵 Tardies will be exempted in the morning due to potential transportation delays. If your child drives to school, please visit with them about taking it slow and being careful.

🔵 We have now used more inclement weather days than we had remaining in our academic calendar. There are a variety of factors that play into this, and we will share more information once plans to make up time are finalized and board approved in February.

🔵 Please be prepared that if another weather event prevents us from safely holding in-person classes between now and May, we will be using virtual days to prevent adding additional days to our school year calendar.

Due to projected inclement weather, there will be no school for Deer Creek School District on Friday, January 23, 2026.

As a reminder, we only send out communication if school is canceled. There have been no decisions about next week at this time.

❄️ It’s time to chill, skate, and support Rose Union! Join us THIS Thursday, January 22 from 5-9pm at Mitch Park (1501 W Covell Rd.) for our Skating Spirit Night! ⛸️

Skating is just $13 per skater, with skates included. Be sure to mention Rose Union upon arrival, because $5 from every ticket goes back to support our school!

Bring the whole family, invite some friends, and enjoy a fun night on the ice while supporting Rose Union. We can’t wait to see you there!
