Ryan Kules, a former U.S. Army veteran who lost his right arm and left leg in an IED-related incident in Iraq, made good on a yearlong objective. In four hours Monday inside M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, the Severna Park resident set three indoor rowing Guinness World Records as part of Wounded Warrior Project’s “Warriors Doing Hard Things” series. “It’s really an opportunity to be a benchmark for me to tell myself that I can do something hard like this, and then also taking some time to remember those guys that are lost and don’t have that opportunity,” Kules said. “We get one shot at life and being able to take advantage of that. So this is kind of my shot to go as far and as fast as I can.”

7,000 flags and dog-tags have been placed on the library lawn at OSU in preparation for Veterans Day. Each of these represents a Service Member who was killed in combat since Sept 11th, 2001.
