and heaven leans close to listen.
A silver moon rests low in the sky,
like a promise not yet spoken.
The waves move softly,
as if carrying prayers
from the shore to the unseen place
where peace is born.
I stand before the water
and feel my spirit unclench.
What was heavy grows light,
