We had a fun week. We honored our Mothers by making a special Mothers Day Gift. We had some Cinco de Mayo fun by making corn salsa, eating tortilla chips, making sombrero hats, and dancing to Mexican music. We also enjoyed letter art and fun learning table toys and puzzles.

ART is so important for child development! It stimulates brain development, encourages problem solving and decision-making. It teaches confidence and persistence and how to process visual information. It works on emotional regulation, fine motor skills and is great for emotional health! And its FUN!

We have had a great few weeks. The best part was the incredible complex play within the group. The cooperation and creativity was so fun to watch and it made my teacher heart ridiculously happy! We also enjoyed working on our letters, numbers and colors. We did a lot of spring art including caterpillars and butterflies and learning their life cycle. We also had so much fun making pancakes where the children worked on measuring, senses and cooperation.

We enjoyed some St. Patrick's Day fun. The leprechauns hid gold for us to find, we painted shamrock's, and ate delicious lucky charm cookies. We also did yoga!

We had a really fun few weeks learning through play and making new friends. We enjoyed Mardi Gras themed sensory play. We worked on our fine and large motor skills by lacing, stickers, dancing and building with large boxes and playing with tunnels. We also worked on colors and shapes by mixing paints and rectangles.

We had a wonderful few weeks. We explored the letters E and F, made holiday and winter themed art. We had lots of imaginative play, sensory play and dancing! We also celebrated a friends birthday and made Gingerbread Houses.

We had a fun time exploring the letter D and E. We painted dinosaurs, elephants and eggs. We danced and pretended to be dinosaurs and elephants. Our favorite was the sensory bins with dinosaurs and eggs.
