Happy Year of the Rabbit! In Chinese culture, the rabbit symbolizes longevity, peace, and prosperity, which are indications of a bright future. An ancient folk story known as “The Great Race” states that the rabbit finished fourth by jumping from one stone to another in an agile manner. Therefore, this made the rabbit the fourth of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac. Based on the rabbit’s capability, one can see that the rabbit is a very clever animal despite not being the strongest. One could interpret this as a person using his/her brain more is better than using his/her strength. May this new year be a year where we work smart!
