On this special day celebrating both music and yoga, we’re revisiting a powerful performance from our archives ✨

In 2019, during the 5th International Yoga Day celebration hosted by the Consulate General of India in New York, Jin Won presented a mesmerizing Kathak solo, accompanied by the soulful Tabla of Mike Lukshis.

Through the taal of tabla and the grace of Kathak, their performance embodied the essence of yoga — a union of breath, body, and spirit through music and dance.

Also featuring co-musicians: Indrajit Roy-Chowdhury on sitar and Kaumil Shah on djembe.

Congratulations to all our performers!
What a truly special day it was. Our recent Kathak Recital was a celebration of spirit, tradition, and the joy of dancing together.

Watching our students—from all ages and backgrounds —share the stage with such heart and grace was deeply moving. And having our inspiring guest artists with us made the day even more unforgettable.

Thank you to every dancer, family member, and friend who brought their energy, love, and support. This recital was a beautiful reminder of what we can create when we come together through art.
