And just like that, we’re wrapping up our What Would You Be If You Weren’t at East Side? series with five staff members who pack a whole lot of heart, personality, and Lancer spirit into our school every single day! ❤️🖤 East Side wouldn’t be the same without them!

Thank you to everyone who has watched, laughed along, and enjoyed getting to see our amazing staff in a whole new way! We’ve had so much fun sharing these with you!

Have a wonderful Fall Break, Lancer family! 🍂 Enjoy the time off, make some memories, and we’ll see everyone back on Monday, October 19! 🖤❤️

And we’re back! 🎉 What would our amazing staff be if they weren’t at East Side? We’re kicking things off with our first grade teachers and a few favorite staff members! ❤️🖤

The third graders at East Side Elementary visited the Indianapolis Zoo as the culminating experience of their rainforest and orangutan unit. The students completed field observations of the orangutans and participated in a program called Tropical Topple to learn additional information about the habitat of the rainforest.

Have you seen our admins? 👀 We’ve hidden mini versions of Mr. Schoettmer, Mr. Sevier, and Mr. Shayne around the school! Classes are on the hunt during regular hallway transitions, practicing quiet, focused movement during testing while adding a little Lancer fun. Who will find one? We would like to thank the Edinburgh Community Education Foundation for organizing the delivery from local stores Lola’s Bakehouse and Izzy’s for our staff. It was very much enjoyed!
