🏈❤️ What a way to kick off the season! Our littlest Lancers took over the varsity field for Bantam Night and Dance Mini Camp, joining our high school Lancers for a night they won’t forget. We’re so proud of these future Lancers—and we got the win, too! 🎉

We can’t wait to see our Little Lancers do amazing things tonight at the varsity game as we officially kick off the football season and celebrate Bantam night alongside Mini Dance Camp! After getting a taste of the action at last week’s scrimmage, the real thing is here!

📣 Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. Come out, fill the stands, and cheer on our Lancers! And be sure to check out the Edinburgh Courier article coming out soon celebrating these Little Lancers! 🎒🏈❤️🖤

Great program for parents needing Homework help, or childcare before or after school.

If you are in need of care for before, after, or both please stop by our office today and reserve your spot!

The Before and After School Enrichment Program is now opening registration for the current school year.

A.M. students: Drop off begins at 6:00 A.M. The bus picks up from our facility and will drop students off at East Side. Children are provided breakfast as well.

P.M. students: Students arrive at our facility via bus. They are provided a snack, homework time/help, crafts, free play, and socialization. Pick up until 5:30 P.M.

Cost:

A.M./ P.M. ONLY: $50 per week per child.

A.M. AND P.M. : $70 per week per child

REGISTRATION (Due each semester): $100 per semester per child.

This program is open to all East Side students in grades k-5th. We do follow the school schedule. SPOTS ARE LIMITED. Spots are secured through payment only.

⚾ Opening Day is Here! ⚾

Dear East Side Families,

Tomorrow is Opening Day at East Side Elementary, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome our students back for the 2026-2027 school year!

Just like every great baseball season begins with the first pitch, every great school year begins with the first day. Tomorrow we step onto the field together with fresh notebooks, sharpened pencils, eager minds, and endless possibilities.

This season, our team has 180 school days to grow, learn, and improve our academic stats. Every book we read, every math problem we solve, every act of kindness we show, and every challenge we overcome moves us one step closer to becoming the best version of ourselves.

At East Side, we know championships aren't won in a single game—and successful school years aren't built in a single day. They are earned through consistent effort, teamwork, perseverance, and a positive attitude. Whether your child is stepping into kindergarten for the very first time or beginning their final season at East Side as a fifth grader, we are excited to cheer them on every step of the way.

Personally, I am incredibly excited to begin my eighth year as Principal of East Side Elementary and my fifteenth year with Edinburgh Community School Corporation. It has been an honor to serve this amazing community, and I can't wait to see what our students, staff, and families accomplish together this year.

As we take the field tomorrow, let's remember:

Show up ready to play. Attendance matters!
Give your best effort every day.
Support your teammates.
Celebrate growth—one day, one lesson, and one success at a time.

Here's to a season filled with learning, laughter, friendships, and unforgettable memories.
