🌟 CAMP Spotlight: Luis Conde Meza 🧡🤠

We are incredibly proud to recognize one of our outstanding 2024-2025 CAMP students, Luis Conde Meza, who was selected for a competitive STEM summer research internship at Indiana University!

Luis has spent the summer fully immersed in hands-on research, working alongside top faculty and peers from across the country. As the final presentations approach, Luis shared how meaningful this experience has been, describing the campus as "absolutely beautiful" and the work as "incredibly rewarding."

He writes:

“It’s been a privilege to spend the summer here, and I feel grateful for the opportunity. I'm always proud to represent UTRGV CAMP and the Valley in general.”

We are so thankful to see our CAMP students thriving and reaching for new heights. Your journey inspires us all, Luis! V'S UP!

Our CAMP students created care packages and wrote thank-you cards in appreciation for the volunteers at the CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) organization. These volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children in the community.

CAMP is more than a program — it's familia, support, and strength every step of the way. 🧡
