Now if you don’t know Paul, you haven’t been paying attention! Former MBAA President, Treasurer, and now serving MBAA members in a new role. 🤠✌🏼

Greetings everyone! My name is Paul Somoso, and I'm delighted to be a part of the MBA Association. I completed my bachelor's degree at Chamberlain University in 2011 and I am currently pursuing my MBA with a specialization in Business Analytics. My professional background primarily revolves around technology, programming, and entrepreneurship, with a keen interest in finance, economics, algorithmic trading, cryptocurrency, data science, and machine learning. Although I grew up and reside in Sharyland, I spent five years in Dallas before returning. During my free time, I enjoy photography, kayaking, and following Formula One.
As the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the MBA Association, I bring my expertise and experience to the table. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving as both President and Treasurer, gaining invaluable insights into the workings of this exceptional organization. The MBA Association offers incredible opportunities for involvement, interaction with fellow MBA students, and the chance to expand your professional network. I wholeheartedly encourage each one of you to join the MBA Association at UTRGV. Together, we can make a lasting impact and create a vibrant community of ambitious business professionals.

Meet Juan Cantù, Treasurer of the MBAA at UTRGV! ✌🏼🤠

Hello Everyone! My name is Juan Leonel Cantu, Treasurer of the MBAa. I am doing my MBA with a specialization in Data Analytics. It is really exciting to be part of this team and organization, looking forward to this year and the great things we are preparing for the students and community.

Meet Greg! Our UTRGV MBAA VP!

Hi Everyone! My name is Greg Lynch and I am the current Vice President of the MBAA association. What I enjoy about MBAA is that we have amazing networking opportunities: The MBA association offers extensive networking opportunities with fellow students, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals. These connections can lead to valuable career opportunities, partnerships, and mentorship. I also enjoy professional development: MBAA often provides various professional development resources such as workshops, seminars, and guest speaker events. These activities enhance my business acumen, leadership skills, and industry-specific knowledge. Lastly, I enjoy the knowledge sharing: MBAA facilitates the exchange of knowledge and expertise among its members. Through conferences, panel discussions, and forums, members can learn from each other's experiences and gain insights into different industries and business practices. Overall, MBAA can be considered great due to the numerous benefits it offers, including networking, professional development, knowledge sharing, alumni engagement, career support, collaboration, access to resources, and social experiences. These aspects contribute to the growth and success of individuals pursuing an MBA and help build a strong professional network for the future. I love watching movies and going to live sporting events. We hope you can become an MBAA member today!
