What a sweet way to end the school year! Miss Sandoval and Miss Gonzalez’s Aiken Elementary kinders celebrated becoming published authors with a luau publishing party featuring their class book, “When I Grow Up… Watch Out World!”

As we celebrate these young authors, we’re reminded that school board decisions help create opportunities for innovative learning experiences that allow students to dream big and shine bright.

We are thrilled to welcome back our Valley View High School Band, Theatre Arts, and Colorguard students from their incredible trip to Walt Disney World in Florida!

Experiences like these provide our students with opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom. From performing and learning alongside talented students from across the nation to experiencing world-class entertainment, our Tigers gained valuable memories, inspiration, and life experiences that will stay with them for years to come.

At Valley View ISD, we are committed to providing exceptional opportunities that help our students grow as performers, leaders, and individuals. We are proud of the way our students represented our district, community, and Tiger family throughout their journey.

Congratulations to Roma ISD Superintendent Carlos M. Gonzalez Jr. on being selected as the Region One Superintendent of the Year.

Gonzalez will represent the Region One area in the statewide award program, which recognizes exemplary Texas superintendents for excellence and achievement in educational leadership. He will advance alongside 19 other regional nominees from across the state.
