Today, we had so much fun dancing our way through country, merengue, and hip hop! Not only did we burn off tons of calories, but we also learned some new moves! After the workout, we discussed the importance of healthy snacks to keep us fueled throughout the day. We talked about reaching for fruits and veggies for hydration and essential vitamins. Then, we got hands-on in the kitchen, making delicious chicken spring rolls packed with fresh fruits and vegetables. Participants had a blast learning how to use rice paper and fill it with colorful, nutritious ingredients. What a fantastic day of wellness and learning! 🥕🍎🥬

Today, the MCV team held our planning meeting, and we’re so excited for what’s to come! We discussed plans for our upcoming sewing classes, organized details for our volunteer appreciation luncheon, and made arrangements for our Community Service Drop-Off donation at Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center. We also started the nomination process for new MCV officers. It’s such a privilege to work with this amazing group of dedicated volunteers, and I can’t wait to see the positive impact they’ll continue to make in our community!
