Our 5th Grade PTO Meeting & Music Performance is happening Thursday, September 24th! The PTO meeting begins at 5:15 PM, followed by our “Back to School” Music Performance at 5:30 PM in the FGE Gym. 🎵📚 Parking will be in either the front or back of the school.

❤️🇺🇸 A Special Grandparents Day at Freddy Gonzalez Elementary 🇺🇸❤️

This morning, Freddy Gonzalez Elementary celebrated our Annual Grandparents Day with an amazing turnout! Our campus was filled with families connecting, reading together, and creating special memories while promoting a love for reading. 📚❤️

As we gathered on September 11, we also paused to honor and remember the Americans who lost their lives on 9/11. Our campus shared a moment of silence followed by “Taps,” as we reflected together with respect and remembrance. 🇺🇸

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our grandparents and families for sharing this special morning with us, and to our incredible FGE teachers and staff for creating such a welcoming and family-friendly environment.

We are grateful for our FGE community and the continued support of our students and school.

Just a friendly reminder that we WILL have school on Monday, September 7th (Labor Day). Our regular school hours and daily schedule will remain unchanged.

To my FGE Family,
Today marks the end of a very special chapter in my life as I retire from my role as principal of FGE.

I am incredibly grateful to the amazing staff, wonderful students, and supportive parents for the memories, friendships, and experiences that have made my time at FGE so meaningful. It has truly been an honor and a privilege to serve this school community.

As I begin this new chapter, I leave with a heart full of gratitude and pride. I wish Dr. Trevino, our new principal, tremendous success as he leads FGE into the future. I know the school is in wonderful hands. 🙌🏻

Thank you all for allowing me to be part of your lives. I will cherish the memories always.
