Shortly after John Leguizamo received the Raul Julia Award for Excellence at the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts Noche Musical, Trip Shirah along with the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District Mariachi de Mi Tierra paid tribute with this performance of "The Impossible Dream" from Man of La Mancha.
We can't thank Abel Acuna, Nelinda Villareal and the entire Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District Mariachi department enough for their collaboration with our Palm Awards students. Your mariachi students were incredible.

Inaugural Entry Premieres Tomorrow! Ancient grudges are no match for true love in Veterans Memorial ECHS Theatre’s production of ‘West Side Story.’ November 8,9,10. A ‘24/‘25 Palm Awards entry.
In an unforgettable performance, Madelynn Forcier lit up the stage performing "Breathe" from the musical "In the Heights" with Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District Mariachi de Mi Tierra at this past year's National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts Noche Musical.
We thank innovators and creators like Lin-Manuel Miranda who have created music and broadway shows that Latinos could now see themselves reflected in.
Madelynn Forcier is a former Palm Awards Best Actress winner, a McHi Theatre alumn and a current Elon University Music Theatre student. We hope to see her one day grace the Broadway stage.

Every year, National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts selects our Palm Awards students to perform at their Noche Musical in a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Here is Gabriela Garza, a former Palm Awards nominee, Harlingen Performing Arts Conservatory alumn and recent graduate of Point Park University performing "Somewhere" from West Side Story.
