Meet K9 Eyka! 🐾 For seven years she has proudly served with UTRGV PD alongside her handler Officer Isaac De la Garza.🐕

Her favorite things are playing fetch, belly rubs, and spending time with Officer De la Garza.

Eyka is trained in explosives detection and she loves helping keep our campus community safe. 🧡

🗳️ UTRGV serves as an Early Voting and Election Day polling location for both Cameron and Hidalgo counties.

📅 The deadline to register to vote in Texas for the November 3 election is Monday, October 5.

⏰ Early Voting begins Monday, October 19 and ends Friday, October 30. The Brownsville and Edinburg campuses will be polling locations.

🇺🇸 Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. The Brownsville, Edinburg, and Harlingen campuses will be polling locations.
